Do you want to know 3 of the quickest ways to sell your property?

If your planning to place your property on the market. Then one thing you really need to do is have a sort out and de clutter!!!!!

This thought for some of you can be really daunting let alone time consuming. However doing this will not only will get the property viewed more so than others, it will also help you when you go to move, just imagine all that packing and moving of things that you don't actually use! So why not sort it out and get great results.

De cluttering and then re styling a room can give the illusion that a space is bigger than it actually is. You can work wonders when it comes to styling and positioning furniture in the correct way. You may even find that the colours you have painted in certain rooms are only to your personal taste which is great, however everyone has different tastes. Which is why I recommend a lick of White emulsion, or Off White would help too.

Less is more!

Put as little in a room as possible, you know basic furniture and then a few accessories dotted about. Some nice pictures, even a wall gallery, what about fresh flowers too. If you really have too many personal belongings then there are some great storage solutions out there that you can hide them in and give the illusion of tidiness.

You want your potential buyers to be able to visualise their own furniture in the space. As I have said before in my de clutter blog that some people cannot see through another persons belongings or even their taste, which is a real shame especially if that house is everything that they have on their want list when buying a property.

So don't forget............

  1. De clutter to give the illusion of a bigger space, we all love space.
  2. Decorate with a lick of pain using a neutral colour. I would go with White and then add a little colour to the sofa with scatter cushions.

Re style the furniture where needed to allow the potential buyer to visualise their own furniture in the space.
