6 Great buys for your bedroom
Styling your bedroom
Styling your bedroom can be fun and can been easily done on a small budget. We all have a particular amount we can spend on furniture, from first time buyers to expanding families or house renovations.
There are many reasons why you would go and buy a wardrobe. I love the idea of having a walk in wardrobe, not because I have lots of clothes but because I am a person that likes to see all my clothes in so as to not forget any little Jems that I usually cant find because they are doubled up on a hangers. To have a section for tops, trousers, skirts etc really appeals to me. Unless your bedroom has the space then your option is a free standing wardrobe or built in.
I love my bedroom to be adaptable so if I want to change the layout I can. So built in or fitted wardrobes are not the option you should take.
Once you have come up with what style of wardrobe you would like, you need to then look at other furniture. Would you go for all matching or would you like different unique pieces?
If you are a first time buyer and it has cost you the earth to save for a deposit to get the house in the first place then you need to furnish it with reasonably cost furniture.
In my lifetime I have purchased many things from Ikea, some of the products I have had come with some issues later down the line with flimsy wardrobes, although some of the units have been great. I would strongly recommend that if you are buying budget wardrobes then add a little more strength to it by adding some timber to the back frame or mounting it to the wall. Here is a lovely looking system that Ikea have and for first time buyers I think is great value. You have to start some where right?
Ok so these are my top wardrobes that range from budget to fairly expensive, I have to say having used Loaf for a client, I can happily say the quality is top notch. So would highly recommend.
I think its fairly hard to pick up a wardrobe that looks a little unique Made and Loaf are two companies that you will find something a little bit different from the usual high street furniture stores.
