How you can make your air clean in your home without spending a fortune and by having a super cool piece of technology

So if you have already seen my Instagram story the other day you will know that I had taken special delivery of a super cool air Purifier that not only helps your health but it also helps the planet too.

Welcome to the Briiv Air Purifying system.

To start with the parcel arrived in completely biodegradable packaging and not one bit of plastic in sight. That is a bonus in my eyes to start with. Having unravelled everything I then discovered that it was a piece of kit that not only does wonders to the air but it also looks really cool to.

The product itself is made from Elephant Grass and hemp allowing it have have less plastic than any other air filtering system on the market. Nt only that it has completely biodegradable filters which I can’t wait to tell you what they do. But to start here are the reasons why we all should take a lesson in the harmful pollutants that we breath in within our home. I am being completely honest now but I was so awake aback by some of them that I felt a little naive but incredibly grateful that Have gained the knowledge now and this is what your going to read about.

What actual pollutants are floating about in our home?

We use so many things in our home but did you realise that some can give off nasty particles?

#1 Candles

#2 Cooking

#3 Pets

#4 Log burners and stoves

#5 Outdoor fumes

#6 Molds

No for some facts that made me even more interested in the product.

Did you know that 7 million people die yearly from air pollution? shocking its it considering that is more than the population of Denmark.

There has also been a university study in Beijing back in 2018 telling us that air pollution can have an affect on our brain functions leading to a difference in our brain performance.

These two facts alone were enough for me to really start taking notice of my home and what is in it. I believed that having plants within our home not only look desirable but they also do good job of filtering the air in fact they do a little but Briiv have studied and found that the Briiv filter system can do the equivellant of having 3043 house plants within the home !!! I love plants but that takes a lots of water and time! Check out the video clip below.

Clever right? its like being back in the Science labs at Secondary school, but ii find it way more interesting now!

Why is is so sustainable and Biodegradable ?

The Briiv itself as I mentioned earlier is made from Elephant Grass and Hemp and the filters are 100 Biodegradable and here is what they are and what they do!

Moss- Sustainably sourced dried Moss this is used to capture the larger particulates from the air like larger dust particles and the pet pollutants (dander) so the larger bits like the hairs classed as allergens and pollens also and allergens. Both causing us itchy eyes , sneezing and skin irritations.

Natural Coconut Fibres - This grabs the harmful bacteria like mild spores and other bacterias floating about.

Silk Matrix - This clasps the fine harmful but particles the silk matrix also contains Activated Carbon (charcoal) which grabs the uninviting odours so really not only cleans the air but can make it smell nicer too. Helping us not buy the harmful products that are sprayed everywhere to cover up the bad odours.

So there you have the filter systems and how they are laid out, its easy to assemble and the little brochure you get within the package has a QR code which downloads the Manual directly to your phone.

There are many places you can uses the Briiv in your home and dont worry using it doesn’t cost the earth either, if you were to use it for 6 hours a day it would only cost you wait for it ………….

£2.02 per year that’s definitely what we want to hear considering the cost of energy at the moment.

I bet you’re also wondering ho big the room can be for it to filter within an hour,, it will actually purify the air in a 36m2 room within the hour.

Where are you meant to place it in the home ?

Its completely up to you it looks great in any room due to its sleek and modern design. You could place it in the room where you do your fitness? Yoga and breathing etc? or you bedroom/living space or even your kitchen ? where you spend most of you time is good.
